“When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,

when sorrows and sea billows roll;

whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,

it is well, it is well with my soul”

This hymn has spoken to us all for so many years.  Today, Dr. Charity Byers has a devotion she’d like to share that revolved around this concept of “it is well with my soul”.  What is holding you back from being well?  Find out what you can do in our video blog post today found below.

    God just brought me to your page so I could listed to your message on soul care.
    Today my heart is broken and I am struggling.. tomorrow I hope and pray I will be better. November 25, 2016, my husband and best friend died rather unexpectedly of liver cancer. Diagnosed November 10 and in Heaven November 25, he was my best friend, husband, and minister I feel so lost and alone, we were married 25 years and have no children so we were very close.
    We sang the song “It is well at Terry’s funeral and I firmly believe it and still do. It just hurts so much and decisions I need to make and things need done.
    Please pray for me when God brings me to mind. I know I will survive because OF God my strength and redeemer
